I like big books and I cannot lie!

Seven Minutes in Heaven - Sara Shepard I'm really happy with this book, but on the other hand I'm really dissapointed. Sara Shepard could've wrapped the series up in such a perfect way, but she didn't. In the first book Shepard talked about a particular story in the Greek mythology and I thought that she foreshadowed the killer. It could've been amazing in a mind-blowing way. It wasn't mind-blowing. It was more lazy. But it was still amazing only in a different way.The shock of finding out who the real killer came as a shock. Looking back you can see all the clues that lead up to this point. Shepard has improved her writing style and story building. It was definitely one of her best.
Shatter Me - Tahereh Mafi Watch my short spoken review here!OMG I love this so much! The characters are very intriguing even if you dislike some of them. I flew through this. The writing style is perfect to my liking and the pace is very quick. The ending left me with a Mockingjay meets the Host feeling. And if you want to know what that means: read it!
Delirium (Delirium, #1) - Lauren Oliver Watch my short spoken review here!I have seen a lot of reviews of this book so I knew some things about it going into the story. I thought that the falling in love part would take place before the middle of the book. Fortunately that didn't happen. It went slow and steady and I liked it.Even though the story is a bit predictable the ending left of on a cliffhanger and I want to know what happens to Lena and Alex!
The Duff (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) - Kody Keplinger I didn't have a lot of expectations for the books because I didn't really know what is was about. The story and the characters are just ok. Nothing fancy, nothing special. It's a nice book but it's not something you NEED to read.
A Bend in the Road - Nicholas Sparks It is much more interesting in English than Dutch. But since I read it for the second time the story wasn't a surprise to me. However the book is one of the better ones.
I Am Number Four - Pittacus Lore Im not a huge fan of books that have all the action at the end of it. I prefer it to be spread out more. This book had ALL OF THE FIGHTING in the last 50-100 pages and that was not something I enjoyed. The storyline itself was interesting and the characters were too. Even though I liked the book I don't think I'll pick the next book in the series up ASAP. I don't feel the need.
The Walking Dead, Vol. 1: Days Gone Bye - Tony Moore, Robert Kirkman I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoy the tv show, but it's still a nice comic.
Scott Pilgrim & the Infinite Sadness - Bryan Lee O'Malley The thing I love most about the series are the small annotations for some characters and things they say. The series is just amazing and everyone should give it a try.
Angels & Demons - Dan Brown Watch my short spoken review here! This book is amazing. I'm a full on science believer but religion is something I've always found really interesting. This book combines them both. But that is not what it's fully about. There are riddles and secrets and just ah! I found it hard to put down. I must confess that the first 50-70 pages were not that enjoyable so it took some time for me to get into the story and its characters.I'll be definitely picking up the next book in the Robert Langdon series!
Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World - Bryan Lee O'Malley Great story again. Scott is really funny.
The Last Olympian - Rick Riordan I understand why this one has the highest rating. The books did have a little too much fighting to my liking, but fortunately the fighting scenes itself weren't that long.Everything came together is in epic finally of the series.
Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life - Bryan Lee O'Malley Great "book"! Very funny, I actually laughed out loud a couple of times. Also very quick read!
Beautiful Redemption (Caster Chronicles #4) - Kami Garcia, Margaret Stohl What could've been a book with difficult trials seemed to me only minor challenges. Nevertheless the storyline was fantastic. Lena and Ethan both had to deal with problems (Ethan's were a lot bigger) and the way the authors write make you want to keep on reading.
Wuthering Heights - Emily Brontë, John S. Whitley Not my favourite classic out there. I despise Heathcliff. A man should never have that much power over a woman and Cathy is too weak to let him go. Also Emily's witting style is not the style I prefer to read. I can't help to compare it to Charlotte's and I like her writing style much more. But the story is fantastic, I mean it's a classic for a reason. I must say that a couple of years will go by before I'll read it again.
Summer and the City - Candace Bushnell It is a fun read and I think that I enjoying it more than the Carrie Diaries. It was really fun to read about Carrie's early days in NYC. And I love seeing the relationships between all the SatC girls start!
The Demigod Files - Rick Riordan It was a quick fun read. My initial interest lay with the short stories but when reading it I didn't find those all that interesting. The short clips and pieces about the camp and the Gods etc were far more interesting!
